By far one of the things that I couldn't live without anymore in AutoCAD is the new feature to Maximize and Minimize a Viewport. I am a user that is always working in Layouts and through Viewports. This feature makes it seem like you are switching to Model Space and with that View current right away. So if you normally lock Viewports to prevent accidental zoom scale changing you will love this feature. It allows you to zoom, pan and edit without fear of messing up your Viewport. To find out more about this feature see the tip Getting the Most Out of Editing in a Viewport (VPMAX / VPMIN).
Image above shows the Viewport in Maximized state with the red border.
