Haven't heard of Alienrware... and What is ALX? Alienware is a company that has been build PCs for less than 10 years and targets PC gamers and high-end workstations. To learn more about Alientware go to Alienware.com. So now that we have established who Alienware is, it is time to focus on what ALX is.
ALX is an innovative way to take two graphics cards and combine them into a single motherboard through both hardware and software. This helps to increase the throughput on the graphics cards and could help to make things much faster in the CAD and Visualization area by increasing work flow and power. If you think about it, today you can buy a dual output graphics card. So what happens if you can place two cards with dual outputs with this new technology. The results are unimaginable and the possible applications for this technology could be endless. Things that come to mind could be in the area of training or even research. The ALX is based on the new "PCI Express" slot which will be coming out by many vendors hopefully yet this year.

With this just around the corner, I can't imagine what is just a couple years away. Hardware has been on the move for the last couple of years.
Sincerely,
Lee
